This renovation and expansion of a home in Newton was featured on the 1996 season of “Home Again with Bob Vila”. The project involved an addition that accommodated the homeowners program for a new family room, dining area and kitchen on the first floor and three bedrooms as well as a master bedroom/bathroom suite on the second floor. The design allowed for increased ceiling heights in the addition by incorporating a step-down transition to the family room and a cathedral ceiling in the master suite.
